The EESTEL Association and its European experts in electronic transaction systems pay particular attention to the transfer of skills and the sharing of knowledge. In the face of rapidly evolving technologies and knowledge in the field of Secure Transactions, it has become strategic for financial institutions, but also their suppliers (publishers, hosts, subcontractors) to maintain the competence of the teams in-house. Training is a key factor in the success and smooth running of services, which determines end-customer satisfaction.

The EESTEL Association training courses are aimed at Engineers, Technicians, Project Managers, Decision Makers or Salesmen. They cover the organizational, regulatory, functional and technical aspects of the implementation of transaction solutions.

They can be organized independently or for multiple companies. They are based on a reference content that is adapted to each intervention to the evolution of technologies and standardization. EESTEL is a registered training institute with Prefecture of Basse-Normandie under identifier 25140213814.

Tols and materials
Theoretical training is provided in PowerPoint format from a laptop via a video projector. A booklet including all presentations is provided to the participants. Some of these courses are complemented by hands-on practices, tutorials and practical exercises that allow participants to concretely consolidate their theoretical knowledge. Practical work is carried out using appropriate tools.

Sessions duration
Each session lasts from 1 to 2 days (or more) depending on the desired level of details.
On specific request, EESTEL also provides variants of the reference courses (personalization of the duration and content of the sessions) or other training courses in Electronic Transaction Systems.

Dates, schedule & organization
The date and time of the trainings are predefined by quarter and also in intra training in agreement with the client. Each training session will accommodate at least 5 people and 10 to 12 people at the most. Lunches and coffee breaks are supported by EESTEL.
EESTEL reserves the right to cancel a training session in case of insufficient number of participants.

The sessions take place either at the client’s premises or at one of the EESTEL training centers. The main training center is in Issy-les-Moulineaux.


An internationally recognized expert in his field during the fifteen years spent with Gemalto’s research and security team, he is a specialist in security techniques using different approaches to biometrics. He is also the author of several modules of courses in engineering schools (Centrale, Mines & amp; Telecom …) for more than a decade, has an academic qualification of Master of Conference and an international certification IEEE Certified Biometrics Professionnal -CBP- « ).
Expert in EMV migration, new payment systems, SEPA migration and back office aspects. As an ECP engineer, François is the author of the « Que Sais-je? » booklet on payment means. He spent 14 years in the central group at Crédit Agricole and then 24 years with Sligos group then Atos. He has carried out numerous assignments at Groupement Cartes Bancaires, SNCF, la Française des Jeux, and numerous banks.
Also a co-founder of EESTEL, Pierre is a recognized expert in the field of banking, contactless technologies (readers and applications), e and m-commerce applications, multi-application cards and electronic signature technologies. He also set up payment institutions.
Associate attorney at Osiotès, Nathalie Damiano specializes in information systems and labor law, holds a professional masters degree in the management of personal data and author of a professional thesis on Quantified Self, she is also responsible for courses in Master II (Paris II) in the protection of personal data and labor law.
Recognized expert in the electronic transaction field (payment and loyalty) and digitalization strategies, Robert animates several training courses on electronic banking, transaction security (PCI), notably internationally (Africa, Eastern Europe, South America), EMV) and the organizational implementation of projects in financial institutions.
Claude is a former security manager of Groupement Cartes Bancaires, a seasoned expert in cryptographic systems and techniques to fight against fraud and cybercrime. He teaches cryptography, computer banking security in several engineering schools. He also advises in secure architectures and accompanies his clients in the writing of Common Criteria Profiles and Targets (mainly in English).
Ex NXP, Dominique has worked in the field of consumer and professional microelectronics. He is an engineer consultant in innovation and systems and also teaches electronics, RFID and NFC in many engineering schools in France and abroad. He is the author of numerous books on RFID and NFC. He is also an active member of EESTEL.
As a mobile payment and payment card expert, Jean-Luc spent 7 years at the Groupement des Cartes Bancaires in charge of the « Payments on open networks » business and then managed the Innovation business of Groupe Caisse d’Epargne for 3 years .
He participated in the adventure of mobile payment since 1999, contributed to the ‘Payez Mobile’ project, represented the French banks at the European Payments Council (EPC) before becoming its consultant for the M-Channel Group.
